  • Market Insight: Deeply comprehend the market, competition, and user requirements, aligning these insights with the product segment strategy to propose new solutions or enhancements.
  • Evaluation of Emerging Technologies: Assess the feasibility of novel technology concepts in the context of our organization's strengths, production capabilities, quality standards, costs, and market demands. Champion and initiate technological advancements for various solutions or specific feature sets.
  • Strategic Business Planning: Develop tactical plans for a line of solutions within the framework of the product division strategy encompassing aspects such as pricing and lifecycle management. Assume responsibility for creating and overseeing the business plan, including "Make or Buy" decisions for solution components in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Lifecycle Management: Define a "go-to-market" strategy and prepare for the lifecycle management of a solution line or group within the product segment strategy. Provide support for inventory management and relevant service functions.
  • Specification of Solution Requirements: Define solution requirements, including features, time-to-market, costs, pricing, and profitability, for a range of comprehensive solutions. Align your plans with the product line strategy.
  • Pre-sales Support: Design and customize solution demonstrations, Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), and Proof of Concept (POC) solutions, and offer support for pre-sales activities as needed.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate various functions, including development and quality assurance, engineering, manufacturing, legal, finance, marketing, and sales, to ensure the successful development and introduction of solutions to the market.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed solution descriptions and data for deployment, logistics, manufacturing, and lifecycle management.
  • Support for Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with product marketing to create solution presentations for customers and events, including key user group meetings. Contribute to advertising materials for solution presentations at customer-facing events.
  • Support and, if necessary, lead Sales Enablement training and competitive benchmarking activities to inform business development and sales initiatives.

Yêu cầu công việc

  • 10 + years of experience in the retail industry, with exposure to various segments, retailers, fundamental retail processes, market and shopper trends, AND ICT solutions and services; 5 + years in the development of products and solutions.
  • Experience in a multi-client organization.
  • Strong leadership skills and the capability to work effectively in both physical and virtual teams.
  • Excellent time management and a track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
  • A keen interest in innovation and digital technologies.
  • Exceptional documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Some experience working in and with different regions within ASEAN/APAC.
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment where traditional approaches may not apply.
  • Commercial acumen and strong numerical abilities.
  • A global mindset with an appreciation for and adaptability to diverse cultures.
