Job Description

  • Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with an assigned portfolio of corporate customers, mainly Japanese, to develop and enhance business, ensuring you meet/exceed assigned business targets and control the debt quality of the entire customer portfolio.
  • Liaise with various departments/functional divisions (if relevant) to plan/develop business strategy and account plans, propose effective/feasible solutions regarding banking products/services such as Deposits, Foreign Exchange, Trade Finance, Loans, etc., and execute sales/promotion activities for clients.
  • Supervise transactions with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with local regulations/bank procedures.
  • Set up credit facilities, including preparing/reviewing internal proposals for approval (by preparing/reviewing credit applications to analyze a client's credit profile & propose credit), submitting and defending credit with the Credit Division / Credit Committee (if any), and supervising the sound credit of the portfolio-in-charge.
  • Negotiate contractual documents with clients & prepare business reports as requested.
  • Handle other business tasks assigned by the Line Manager/Department Head, following the branch's vision and strategy.

Job Requirement

  • University degree in Banking, Finance, or related fields.
  • Experience in business promotion in the foreign/local banking sector is required; the job title will be adjusted according to the applicant's experience.
  • Excellent skills in financial report analysis.
  • Good background and understanding of financial/accounting principles and concepts.
  • Fluent in Vietnamese and English (especially writing skills); Japanese capacity is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a sense of teamwork, responsibility, initiative, and a hardworking attitude.
  • Excellent office computer skills.
