Job Description
Safety Supervision & Compliance
- Supervise occupational safety continuously at the factory, with a specific focus on the chemical warehouse, chemical loading areas, and the port area.
- Monitor the strict use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) among all staff and ensure absolute compliance with internal safety regulations.
Chemical & Documentation Management
- Manage all chemical documentation accurately, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS) and Global Harmonized System (GHS) labels.
- Ensure all chemical handling procedures and documentation are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory standards.
Risk Assessment & Incident Management
- Conduct basic job risk assessments routinely to identify potential workplace hazards and recommend preventive measures.
- Report any safety incidents, near-misses, or workplace accidents immediately to management and assist in the root cause investigation process.
Training & Equipment Inspection
- Support the organization and delivery of effective safety training programs for all factory employees.
- Inspect fire protection systems (PCCC) and emergency response equipment regularly to ensure absolute readiness in case of emergencies.
- Perform other safety and administrative tasks as assigned by the Director, Deputy Director, or HSE Supervisor.
Job Requirement
Education & Qualifications
- College Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related technical field.
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on HSE experience within a manufacturing company.
- Strong understanding of chemical safety protocols, risk assessments, and fire protection systems.
Skills & Competencies
- Able to communicate effectively in either English or Chinese.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications for safety documentation and daily reporting.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify and address safety violations promptly.
Personality & Attitude
- Candidates under 35 years of age are preferred due to the dynamic and physically active nature of the role.
- Highly responsible, vigilant, and proactive in identifying and mitigating safety risks.
