Job Description
Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Coordinate seamlessly with the US Planner for accurate order forecasting.
- Allocate the demand plan appropriately based on the company's internal capabilities.
- Evaluate supplier capacity based on order volume, proactively identify potential capacity bottlenecks, and establish robust escalation plans.
Supplier Coordination & Scheduling
- Distribute orders and precise delivery schedules to the internal team and external partners.
- Align with suppliers on-site or through high-frequency communication to break down daily and weekly production schedules.
- Ensure all schedules are based on company orders and strict shipping deadlines, maintaining perfect synchronization with the Master Production Schedule.
Production Monitoring & Issue Resolution
- Conduct in-depth analyses of supplier production lines to identify workflow bottlenecks.
- Coordinate resources immediately to resolve critical issues if any production delays are detected.
Logistics & Delivery Coordination
- Provide highly accurate finished goods availability forecasts to the logistics team.
- Facilitate timely vessel and space booking based on production completion status, ensuring seamless dispatch and delivery.
Job Requirement
Education & Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain planning, production planning, or supplier management.
- Solid understanding of capacity evaluation and production bottleneck resolution.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, sufficient for professional business communication.
- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is considered a significant advantage for liaising with Chinese-speaking suppliers or internal teams.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP), to analyze data and drive strategic decision-making.
- Strong cross-cultural and cross-company communication and coordination skills, adept at balancing internal and external interests.
Personality & Attitude
- Possesses a strong execution mindset with the ability to drive tasks to completion and effectively translate plans into actual output at the supplier level.
- Capable of rapid problem-solving and emergency handling of unexpected situations such as sudden material shortages or capacity issues.
- High stress tolerance, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and highly willing to work overtime or travel as needed.
