Job Description
Sewing Quality Control
- Take full responsibility for maintaining high-quality standards across all sewing stages.
- Focus specifically on inspecting seams, quilt structures, embroidery accuracy, and down-proof seam strength.
- Supervise the production line continuously to ensure all outputs meet the strict "Zero Defects" goal before delivery to buyers.
In-Process & Final Inspection
- Monitor daily sewing lines to ensure absolute precision in production metrics.
- Check for the correct thread count, seam strength, stitches per inch (SPI), labeling, structure, direction, weight, and tension across various fabrics including cotton, satin, and percale.
Inline Quality Assurance (IC QA)
- Ensure all home textile products, particularly bedding items, strictly meet buyer requirements.
- Perform detailed inspections on fabric quality, quilting, embroidery, and down-filling materials.
- Monitor the production process meticulously to minimize rework and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
Defect Minimization & Standard Compliance
- Control the comprehensive inspection of fabric, quilting, embroidery, and down-blowing stages to drastically reduce defects, repair goods, and customer returns.
- Follow Inspection Test Criteria (ITC) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) strictly throughout all daily operations.
Job Requirement
Education & Qualifications
- Vocational Certificate, College Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Garment Technology, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field.
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Quality Control or Sewing Quality Control.
- Proven experience within the home textiles or apparel manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of sewing techniques, fabric variations, and international quality inspection standards (ITC, SOP).
Skills & Competencies
- Good command of the Chinese language is strictly required for daily operational communication.
- Candidates must possess either full proficiency in all 4 skills or strong listening and speaking capabilities.
- Excellent technical inspection, defect analysis, and problem-solving skills.
Personality & Attitude
- Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and exceptionally responsible with a strong commitment to product excellence.
- Capable of working under pressure to meet tight production deadlines and strict buyer quality requirements.
