Job Description
Product Development & Engineering Support
- Leverage deep technical know-how on machining components and processing, including sheet metal, plastic, and electric components.
- Support the development and sourcing for outdoor products including furniture, playground equipment, kitchen appliances, and saunas.
Supplier & Purchase Order Management
- Negotiate rigorously with suppliers to achieve optimal target prices, favorable payment terms, and strict delivery schedules.
- Follow up on Purchase Order (PO) production schedules until the shipment is fully completed.
- Assist the logistics department in coordinating smooth and timely shipments.
Purchasing & Cost Management
- Collaborate actively with cross-functional teams to accurately identify product and material requirements.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to successfully achieve the term annual budget.
- Analyze technical requirements and clearly identify the cost breakdown for various components.
Process Improvement & Reporting
- Conduct regular meetings and generate detailed reports on product and project developments.
- Create and optimize internal procedures and workflows to avoid possible mistakes and significantly increase the team's working efficiency.
Job Requirement
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, International Business, Cost Analysis, or a related field.
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum of 5+ years of procurement experience within the manufacturing industry in a global company.
- A strong engineering background is strictly required for this role.
- Solid industrialization experience in manufacturing-related industries, specifically consumer products.
Skills & Competencies
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken) is strictly required; proficiency in Chinese is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of technical drawings and familiarity with CAD software.
Personality & Attitude
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills are critically important.
- Excellent teamwork spirit, proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment.
