Training & Skill Development

• Develop and standardize SOP-based training programs for operational positions, including weaving machines, knotting machines, drawing-in machines, fabric inspection, warping machines, and sizing machines.
• Integrate Lean and 6S principles into training materials and training processes.
• Provide hands-on training for machine operation, parameter adjustment, troubleshooting, basic maintenance, threading procedures, tension adjustment, sizing solution preparation, roller maintenance, and article change.
• Organize periodic skill assessments to classify skill levels and recommend wage grade adjustments.
• Conduct retraining and skill upgrading programs from basic to master levels.

Defect Analysis, Lean & Continuous Improvement

• Analyze fabric defects and identify root causes related to raw materials, machine settings, worker skills, and 6S violations.
• Classify skill-related defects, measure defect frequency and severity, and use 5 Whys, direct observation, and interviews to identify root causes.
• Design targeted corrective training solutions and monitor improvement after implementation.
• Lead Kaizen projects to reduce machine downtime, excess motion, defects, and improve OEE.
• Apply Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S/6S, Standardized Work, Visual Management, Just-in-Time, and Poka-Yoke.

6S, KPI Monitoring & Resource Optimization

• Lead 6S implementation across weaving, warping, sizing, drawing-in, knotting, fabric inspection, and packing areas.
• Conduct regular 6S audits, provide feedback, and require corrective actions.
• Monitor post-training KPIs, including defect reduction, scrap reduction, labor productivity, downtime, 6S score, and safety incident frequency.
• Analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities and prepare regular reports for the Factory Manager.
• Optimize yarn and material consumption, machine capacity, labor allocation, and skill utilization.
• Recommend new machinery investment, automation opportunities, process upgrades, and other technology improvements.

Education & Experience

• College or University degree in Textile Technology is preferred; training or certification in Lean Manufacturing, 6S, and Kaizen is required; Training and Development certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of practical experience in a weaving factory, with deep understanding of woven fabric production processes, worker training, fabric structures, weave patterns, yarn types, defect analysis, root cause identification, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 6S implementation.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong training and coaching ability with patience, clarity, and effectiveness.
• Excellent communication and persuasion skills when working with employees at different levels.
• Strong data analysis, Microsoft Excel, and reporting skills.
• Able to develop and deliver effective training presentations.
• Adaptable in working with diverse teams and adjusting training methods accordingly.
• Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Language / Other Requirements

• Basic reading comprehension of English or Chinese is preferred.
• Below 45 years old.
• Willing to work shifts.
• Good health and willing to work in a factory environment.
