Job Description
• Oversee and manage the quality control and assurance processes for the production of ready-to-fry and ready-to-eat seafood products.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure product quality and safety.
• Ensure compliance with supermarket audit requirements and various quality and system certifications (e.g., HACCP, ISO, BRC, SQF).
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and R&D teams to maintain high-quality standards and continuous improvement.
• Train and mentor quality control staff on quality assurance procedures and best practices.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
• Prepare and present quality reports, metrics, and improvement plans to senior management.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in quality assurance methodologies.
Job Requirement
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality control and assurance in the seafood industry, specifically with ready-to-fry and ready-to-eat products.
• In-depth knowledge of supermarket audit requirements and various quality and system certifications (e.g., HACCP, ISO, BRC, SQF).
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
