Job Description

Production and Warehouse Management

• Oversee all production and warehouse activities to ensure products are produced according to specifications, work instructions, and good manufacturing practices.
• Ensure on-time delivery of products.
• Make production and delivery plans to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Use the right labor, materials, and equipment for each order.
• Optimize operations, processes, and equipment to achieve the best line efficiency and performance.
• Minimize manufacturing losses.
• Involve in the design of the layout and equipment when necessary.
• Check and correctly report production outputs, work in progress, and material usage on a daily basis; take appropriate actions if needed.
• Manage and handle damaged goods and non-conforming products in the Warehouse.

Quality, Safety, and Compliance

• Implement and monitor the implementation of safety regulations.
• Maintain 5S hygiene standards in the production and warehouse areas.
• Enforce strict compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) by all personnel within the line.

Team Leadership and Development

• Ensure the identified development plan and assure the competencies of the team (including temporary staff) as per the agreed plan with the Manager.
• Provide proper training including equipment usage, safety procedures, and hygiene standards.
• Coach employees to fulfill and exceed the requirements of the job.

Continuous Improvement

• Strongly involve in continuous improvement and problem-solving activities.
• Work with maintenance and QC departments to analyze and find the cause to fix defective product specifications and production or warehouse operation problems.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.

Job Requirement

Education & Qualifications

• University Degree with a major in a technical background or food processing.
• Lean manufacturing qualifications will be an advantage.

Experience & Knowledge

• At least 3 years of experience at the same position in manufacturing companies, preferably in the food and beverage industry (FMCG).

Skills & Competencies

• Good at English or Japanese communication.
• Computer knowledge: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc.
• High sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit.
• Strong ability to deal with emergencies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
