Job Description

Procurement Management

  • Manage the entire procurement process, including tendering and supplier selection, following the Company’s procedures.
  • Assign, supervise, and evaluate the performance of the procurement team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Plan and oversee the procurement of materials and equipment to ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, and cost effectiveness.
  • Review, negotiate, and manage contracts with both local and international suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and adherence to Company policies.

Inventory & Warehouse Control

  • Supervise and manage the materials warehouse to ensure safety and proper preservation of equipment and supplies.
  • Track and control inventory levels; conduct periodic stocktaking and equipment liquidation as per company regulations.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse data and ensure optimal resource utilization.

Supplier Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and select potential local and international suppliers.
  • Assess supplier product quality, pricing, service reliability, and reputation.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and compliance assessments.

Cost Control & Risk Management

  • Manage and monitor procurement expenses and budgets.
  • Identify potential risks in procurement, logistics, and storage processes; propose appropriate mitigation plans.
  • Recommend cost-saving initiatives and process improvements to increase efficiency and transparency.

Process Improvement & Coordination

  • Develop and enhance procurement and warehouse management processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the timely and accurate supply of materials and equipment.
  • Coordinate with finance and project teams to align purchasing with project budgets and timelines.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and train procurement staff to ensure professional growth and consistent performance.
  • Support team members in supplier negotiation and contract execution.

Job Requirement

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, etc.), Foreign Trade, or Business Administration.

Experience

  • 6–10 years of experience in procurement, especially in technical materials, equipment, MEPF, or fire protection (PCCC) fields.
  • 3–5 years of experience working with international suppliers, handling imported materials (quotations, contracts, international payments, documentation, and logistics).
  • Experience in managing technical materials warehouses.

Technical Skills

  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid knowledge of procurement procedures and warehouse management processes.
  • Familiarity with technical aspects of materials and equipment for proper evaluation and control.
  • Proficient in procurement and warehouse management software.
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word).

Soft Skills

  • Leadership and team management: ability to assign tasks, monitor performance, train, and develop team members.
  • Organizational and planning skills: ability to plan procurement schedules, manage timelines, and handle unexpected issues such as late deliveries or material changes.
  • Communication skills: effective collaboration with suppliers, internal departments, and senior management.

Language Skills

  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken, with strong capability to communicate with international suppliers and handle technical contracts.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents in English.
