Job Description
Lead and implement the feasibility and commercial viability of innovation projects driven by internal and external customer needs and market trends. Convert market intelligence into real business opportunities, specifically within the food and personal hygiene packaging sectors.
More specifically:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the food and personal hygiene sectors (B2B focus).
- Lead business development initiatives and manage their commercial and financial implications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with FMCG clients (purchasing, R&D, and innovation roles).
- Collaborate with product development, quality assurance, and operations to deliver tailored packaging solutions.
- Investigate market trends and business model innovations to capture opportunities.
- Provide commercial support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage early-stage client engagements and convert them into tangible business opportunities.
- Contribute market knowledge and client insights to enhance strategic decisions.
Job Requirement
- Minimum 3 years of experience in flexible packaging, focusing on the food and personal hygiene sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Marketing, Economics, or related fields.
- Proven B2B sales and business development track record, especially with FMCG clients.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and public speaking skills.
- Strong analytical mindset and emotional resilience.
- Advanced proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and familiar with CRM systems; Minitab knowledge is a plus.
