Process Optimization:
- Analyze and improve production workflows (frame assembly, polishing, hinge fitting, etc.).
- Reduce cycle times and eliminate bottlenecks in eyewear manufacturing.
- Implement Lean/Six Sigma methods to cut waste (material, time, motion).
Capacity & Line Balancing:
- Calculate production capacity for each line (optical vs. sunglasses).
- Balance workforce and machines to meet daily output targets.
- Design ergonomic workstations to boost productivity.
Cost & Efficiency Tracking:
- Measure labor productivity (e.g., frames produced per worker/hour).
- Track material yield (acetate, metal wire usage vs. waste).
- Report OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) for critical machines.
New Product & Tech Support:
- Develop standard times for new eyewear models.
- Test and validate new production methods (e.g., laser engraving).
- Train supervisors/workers on optimized processes.
Factory Layout & Automation:
- Plan optimal workstation layouts for smooth material flow.
- Identify automation opportunities (e.g., robotic polishing).
- Support equipment procurement (cost-benefit analysis).
Yêu cầu công việc
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably within the eyewear industry or a similar sector.
- Proven proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process optimization and operational excellence.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in leveraging software tools for data analysis and process simulation.
