Interpretation & Communication
- Interpret on-site conversations between Chinese expatriates and Vietnamese production staff, team leaders, and technicians.
- Provide simultaneous interpretation during production meetings, operator training sessions, and daily operation briefings.
- Accurately convey technical requirements, quality standards, and operational instructions to ensure understanding and compliance.
Document Translation & Standardization
- Translate production-related documents, including SOPs, process flow instructions, and quality checklists.
- Review and verify translations completed by external translators to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Maintain a standardized glossary of technical and management terminology used across the production department.
Cross-functional Coordination
- Facilitate communication and coordination between Chinese and Vietnamese departments to resolve on-site operational issues.
- Support managers in ensuring efficient workflow and smooth cooperation between teams.
- Perform other translation or administrative tasks assigned by the Production Manager or CFAO.
Yêu cầu công việc
Education & Qualifications
- College or Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language or related fields.
- HSK Level 5 or above is required.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing company.
- Experience in heavy industry or the steel sector is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in all four Chinese skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
- Strong knowledge of production-related terminology and technical translation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively at all staff levels.
- Able to work on-site and adapt to a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and professional in communication.
