Recruitment Planning & Hiring Manager Support
- Work with hiring managers to define actual hiring needs and role requirements.
- Understand the plant, department, shift structure, culture, pay range, and must-have skills for each position.
- Build recruitment plans, including sourcing channels, hiring timeline, and criteria for suitable candidates.
- Coach hiring managers on interview questions, candidate quality, market conditions, and speed of decision-making.
Candidate Sourcing, Screening & Offer Closing
- Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, competitors, local networks, schools, associations, and past applicants.
- Screen candidates based on skills, motivation, leadership style, compensation expectations, commute, and plant-environment fit.
- Manage the recruitment process to ensure candidates are not left waiting or confused.
- Support offer closing by understanding what matters to candidates.
Retention, Engagement, Reporting & Talent Pipeline
- Coordinate and support employee engagement activities.
- Track recruitment and retention metrics, including turnover, time-to-fill, quality of hire, offer acceptance, source of hire, candidate drop-offs, and required corporate reports.
- Build talent pipelines before job openings, especially for hard-to-fill roles.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
