Training Needs Analysis & Onboarding

• Understand required skills for each department, job, and level by utilizing the Summit master skills matrix.
• Manage onboarding training for new employees, including training work plans.
• Work with plant managers to identify performance gaps caused by lack of training.
• Partner with Operations, Safety, Quality, Maintenance, and department managers to identify skill gaps and improve onboarding and employee development.

Training Program Development & Performance Measurement

• Develop, coordinate, and maintain training programs for hourly and salaried employees across both plant locations.
• Ensure training is fully documented and auditable.
• Develop measurable indicators to evaluate whether training improves performance, not only whether employees attend.
• Build training tools and track employee development progress.

Talent Development, Succession Planning & Engagement

• Support supervisors and managers with professional development tools.
• Support succession planning for key salaried roles.
• Support career development and strengthen the company’s internal talent pipeline.
• Arrange employee engagement activities.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• 5 years of experience in Talent Development and employee engagement activities.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong capability in training needs analysis, onboarding, training program development, and employee development.
• Ability to identify skill gaps and performance gaps across plant operations.
• Ability to build training tools, track development progress, and support career development.
• Knowledge of succession planning and internal talent pipeline development.
• Leadership competencies, including Drive for Results, Process Management, and Building Effective Teams.
• Preferred SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification.

Language / Other Requirements

• Minimum score of 26 on the Wonderlic.
• Successful completion of required pre-employment screening and testing procedures.
• Preferred work experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
