Job Description

• New Product Research and Development
• Analyze, evaluate, design cost calculations, and deploy new sample testing according to Customer requirements following the new product development process.
• Research and explore trends to propose new sample developments suitable for market and Customer needs.
• Work with the Sales Department to meet and work with customers regarding new sample development as well as understanding trends through information exchange.
• Meet yarn suppliers to find new yarn sources for new sample development.

Sample Testing, Evaluation, and Submission

• Coordinate with relevant units to perform sample testing.
• Evaluate test results according to the sample development process of the R&D Department.
• Send samples to the Sales Department and customers, and store samples according to the new product development process of the R&D Department.

Research and Advisory

• Advise on designs suitable for customer segments and market requirements.
• Monitor new trends, technologies, and knitting materials and propose development solutions to superiors.

Reporting and Other Duties

• Report quality and work progress to the direct manager and Head of Department.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the direct manager and Head of Department.

Job Requirement

Education & Qualifications

• College degree or higher in Yarn, Textile majors. Priority given to Knitting Design major.

Experience & Knowledge

• Priority given to candidates with experience in knitting design; candidates without experience will be trained.
• Understanding of natural and synthetic yarn types.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic English.
• Proficient in office computing (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and related software.
• Ability to learn and develop professional expertise.
• Ability to work independently, work in a team, and coordinate with multiple departments.
• Creative thinking, quickly updating market trends.
• Skills in research planning and reporting.
