Job Description

Research and apply automation in production, step by step.

Support the production of Kaizen ideas (related to smooth operating).

Production Automation:

• Check slow-moving points in the production line.
• Make proposals for semi-automatic or full automation.
• Research and provide solutions.
• Support maintenance on PLC & HMI programming.
• Contact suppliers for mechanical parts manufacturing.
• Cooperate with the maintenance team for production line and spare parts installation.

Improvements in Production:

• Support the realization of improvements in production.
• Cooperate with the Maintenance Department to implement improvements to machinery and equipment.
• Continuously consider smooth machine operation.
• Support production by solving bottlenecks on the production line.
• Continuously think about reducing manpower usage.

New Machines, Equipment Investment:

• Draw and design according to specific project requirements.
• Participate in each project about new machines or new production lines with the relevant department.
• Consult with the maintenance manager and factory manager about applying automation in production when new projects are approved.
• Manage and use investment budgets effectively.

Report:

• Update and administrate all projects according to the approved schedule and budget.
• Send a monthly report to the Maintenance Manager.
• Follow the orders of the Maintenance Manager.

Others:

• Implement other jobs based on the assignment of the Maintenance Manager/Factory Manager.
• Follow all procedures and forms issued in the company system.

Job Requirement

Education: University degree.

Major: Electrical/Electronic/Automation Engineer.

Experience: 4-5 years at the same position (or a similar position).

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of mechanical technology.
• Knowledge of PLC and automation.
• Knowledge about equipment in the food processing field.

Skills:

• Good computer skills (CAD 2D, 3D), communication, and manageable skills.
• Able to speak English at an intermediate level; Japanese is an advantage.
• PLC/HMI/Automation troubleshooting skills needed.
• Able to work well in a team.
