- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and target potential clients in need of freight forwarding services.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, utilizing market research, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct sales presentations, negotiate with potential clients, and secure new business.
- Cultivate long-term client relationships to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
Client Relationship Management:
- Understand clients’ logistics requirements and provide tailored freight solutions.
- Communicate with clients regularly to address their needs, answer inquiries, and resolve issues effectively.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
Pricing and Quotations:
- Analyze market trends and competitor pricing strategies to develop competitive pricing models.
- Prepare accurate and timely freight quotes for clients.
- Negotiate rates with carriers and suppliers to optimize profitability.
- Ensure pricing strategies are aligned with company objectives and current market conditions.
Operations Coordination:
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the smooth execution of freight services.
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively address any issues or delays.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pricing agreements.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Analyze market trends and client needs to provide insights and support strategic planning.
Yêu cầu công việc
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes, documentation, and pricing strategies.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in international freight forwarding.
- Knowledge of customs regulations and documentation.
- Familiarity with different modes of transportation (air, sea, road, rail).
