Pattern Development and Technical Analysis
- Study technical files and analyze product construction to determine the best structural solutions.
- Define the most efficient construction process based on design, materials, and production requirements.
- Apply defined standards for each customer, including quality and hardness specifications.
- Understand materials, their properties, and weaknesses such as cutting direction, hardness, resistance, and advantages or limitations.
Coordination and Testing
- Share construction standards and ideas with the team during meetings.
- Collaborate with sample makers to test special constructions before launching production.
- Provide feedback to the merchandising team for any unclear or missing information.
- Organize and classify pattern files (OPTITEX, DXF) clearly in the server for proper reference and readability.
Pattern Creation and Optimization
- Create and finalize patterns according to approved construction standards.
- Ensure all necessary information is clearly displayed on each pattern, including cutting direction, stitching marks, and splitting details.
- Print patterns on the cutting machine and classify them by family for easy tracking.
- Modify, correct, and optimize patterns during trial phases as needed.
- Prepare final production-ready files and transfer the BOM (Bill of Materials) to the merchandising team.
- Analyze material wastage per item to enhance cost efficiency.
- Follow daily planning schedules and assist in meetings when required.

Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or technical certification in Pattern Design, Fashion Technology, or a related field.
Experience & Knowledge
- At least 3 years of experience as a Pattern Maker, preferably in the leather goods or fashion manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with pattern-making software such as OPTITEX and CAD systems.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to propose solutions and demonstrate initiative for improvement.
- Detail-oriented and precise in documentation and pattern handling.
- Curious and proactive in learning new methods and materials.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Good time management and organization to avoid rework and improve efficiency.
