Category Management:

• Research and analyze the market to identify customer needs and product/range opportunities.
• Visit relevant trade shows.
• Fully manage, develop, and implement strategies for the assigned product category.
• Develop customized strategies to satisfy customer needs.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Stores on pricing strategies.
• Stay updated on market trends and deliver innovation.
• Maintain effective internal communication (with other managers, MD teams, operations, sales & marketing, logistics).
• Ensure clear communication with Operations regarding any actions impacting customers or stores.

Merchandising Management:

• Define yearly sales, gross profit, and income targets for the assigned category.
• Achieve targets (sales, margin, stock levels, market share, etc.).
• Manage product performance (price, inventory, promotion, assortment, quality, planning, allocation).
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to optimize product delivery.
• Ensure suppliers understand the pricing strategy.
