Job Description
Category Management:
- Research and analyze the market to identify customer needs and product/range opportunities.
- Visit relevant trade shows.
- Fully manage, develop, and implement strategies for the assigned product category.
- Develop customized strategies to satisfy customer needs.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Stores on pricing strategies.
- Stay updated on market trends and deliver innovation.
- Maintain effective internal communication (with other managers, MD teams, operations, sales & marketing, logistics).
- Ensure clear communication with Operations regarding any actions impacting customers or stores.
Merchandising Management:
- Define yearly sales, gross profit, and income targets for the assigned category.
- Achieve targets (sales, margin, stock levels, market share, etc.).
- Manage product performance (price, inventory, promotion, assortment, quality, planning, allocation).
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to optimize product delivery.
- Ensure suppliers understand the pricing strategy.

Reporting:
- Report all relevant issues to the Merchandise Director.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports for the Merchandise Director and/or General Director.

Job Requirement
- At least 5 years of professional experience in department stores, retail industry management, or related positions.
- At least 2 years of experience at the management level.
- Knowledge of Vietnamese and international merchandising.
- Understanding of retail industry operations (especially non-food).
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis.
- Strong job management and time management skills.
- Skills in allocation, implementation planning, objective supervision.
- Strategic mindset, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently under pressure.
- Willingness to work overtime and travel for business.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and oral).
