Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring absolute timeliness and accuracy.
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements in strict compliance with Chinese Accounting Standards (CAS), US GAAP, and Vietnamese statutory requirements.
• Manage communications with both Chinese and American parent companies and external auditors to facilitate consolidated reporting and audit activities.
• Ensure full compliance with all local Vietnamese regulations regarding taxation, customs, foreign exchange, and other statutory requirements.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Coordinate the preparation of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Monitor budget performance meticulously, analyze variances, and provide valuable insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Treasury & Tax Management

• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financing activities to continually optimize capital efficiency.
• Oversee all tax planning, filing, and payment activities to mitigate risks and actively leverage available tax incentives.
• Handle complex cross-border payments, foreign exchange risk management, and inter-company transfer pricing.

Team Management & Process Improvement

• Lead, mentor, and continually develop the local finance team, including accountants and cashiers.
• Establish, review, and optimize internal control policies and business processes to enhance efficiency and mitigate operational risks.
• Drive the progressive digitalization and automation of internal financial systems.

Business Partnering & Analysis

• Provide robust financial analysis and support to various business units to aid in crucial commercial decision-making.
• Conduct detailed cost analysis, profitability analysis, and comprehensive project investment appraisals.

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are highly preferred.

Experience & Knowledge

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant finance experience, with at least 3 years in a financial management role within a manufacturing or multinational company.
• Prior experience working in a Sino-American Joint Venture or a multi-national corporate environment is considered a significant advantage.
• Proven hands-on experience in effectively handling accounting differences between CAS, US GAAP, and local Vietnamese statutory practices.
• In-depth knowledge of Vietnamese regulations, including a thorough understanding of tax, corporate, labor laws, and foreign exchange controls.

Skills & Competencies

• Exceptional communication skills with fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English required for effective communication with HQ management.
• Proficiency in Vietnamese is considered a strong plus.
• Excellent financial analysis, strategic problem-solving abilities, and strong team leadership skills.
• Highly proficient in using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, along with the MS Office Suite.
