Legal Evaluation & Consultation:

• Evaluate legal risks associated with business decisions, ensuring all activities comply with current regulations.
• Conduct comprehensive legal risk assessments, considering aspects such as commercial & financial law, industry regulations, operational laws, and technology-related compliance.
• Provide legal recommendations to support the company's decision-making process.

Departmental Support:

• Provide guidance to various departments on relevant legal regulations, including data privacy, intellectual property, and labor laws.
• Support the accurate description of company activities in legal language, ensuring compliance in documents and contracts.

Collaboration & External Relations:

• Collaborate with external law firms to anticipate and develop responses to potential legal risks. This includes assessing worst-case scenarios and developing legal strategies to minimize risk.
• Proactively work with government agencies to resolve legal issues and ensure full compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Consult with legal experts in countries where the company plans to expand its operations.

Business Strategy Support:

• Participate in the development and execution of the company's business strategy, providing legal analysis to support decisions related to market expansion, new product development, and investments.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Law degree from a reputable university.
• Lawyer's license / in-house lawyer certification.
• Minimum experience:
  • 7 years for in-house lawyers
  • 5 years for Senior Legal Counsel
  • 3 years for Legal Counsel
• A deep understanding of banking operations, procedures, and business practices.
• Strong knowledge of legal regulations related to banking activities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Comprehensive knowledge of international law and experience working with regulatory agencies across different countries.
• A strategic mindset to anticipate and handle legal challenges proactively.
• Diligent, meticulous, and detail-oriented, ensuring thorough research and providing accurate legal advice.
