Job Description

  • Conduct and assemble research and generate ideas on a variety of topics of relevance to the GM’s role and participate in meetings and project groups both internally and externally, representing the views of the GM
  • Develops, implements and oversees professional administrative processes to ensure optimal functioning of the President's/GM’s Office, helping to define and prioritize GM's time
  • Provides executive level support to the President/ GM with regard to events, partnerships, etc.
  • Works with the Office of the President’s/ GM’s team, planning agendas and overseeing follow-up as needed on projects, as well as ensuring priority initiatives and projects are executed
  • Provides leadership in regard to the Strategic Plan process.
  • Participates with the President/ GM and other program directors and coordinators in institutional planning, policy development, and problem resolution
  • Develops, implements and oversees professional administrative processes to ensure optimal functioning of the President's/GM’s Office, helping to define and prioritize President's time
  • Must be able to prepare presentations, reports and remarks for GM and boards. Includes final review of materials and presentations for special projects needed for dissemination internally and externally.
  • Assists President by preparing and reviewing briefings for client meetings, exhibitions, events, scheduling meetings with external groups and managing follow up from events
  • Keeps the President apprised of market issues that are likely to affect the Company

Job Requirement

  • Demonstrable experience of working at a strategic level with a busy, high profile CEO-level executive and team
  • Experience of project management
  • Must be able to do Powerpoint presentations independently, researching topic, grasping main points.
  • Resilience and flexibility, able to work calmly under pressure and deal with a fast changing workload and sometimes demanding deadlines
  • Proactive, ingenious and creative approach to solving problems
  • Graduated from top University/College.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Analytical skills to identify the connections between data, products and the needs of both clients and products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strategic thinking and planning to execute project leadership
  • Commercial and business acumen, driving sales and achieving performance measures.
  • Can-do attitude and a work ethic underpinned by determination and commitment
  • Strong numbers mindset, Numeracy and financial literacy/ spreadsheets
  • Maintain the highest standard of confidentiality, discretion and professional integrity, Exercise excellent judgment
  • Ability to produce well-presented and coherent written and visual materials quickly
  • Excellent English language communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, grammatically correct written documents and presentations
