Job Description

Production Planning

• Develop detailed daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and forecasted demand.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust plans dynamically according to changes in demand, capacity, and material availability.
• Ensure all production targets and delivery schedules are achieved consistently.

Production Control

• Track production progress to identify potential delays or bottlenecks in the manufacturing process.
• Coordinate with production teams to resolve issues affecting output and delivery performance.
• Analyze production capacity, manpower, and machine utilization to optimize operational flow.

Cross-functional Coordination

• Work closely with Purchasing and Warehouse teams to ensure material availability for production.
• Coordinate with Quality and Engineering departments to support and resolve production requirements.
• Communicate production status and delivery schedules to management and relevant stakeholders.

Team Management

• Lead and supervise the planning team to ensure efficient execution of all planning activities.
• Train, coach, and develop team members to maintain high-performance standards.
• Monitor team performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Prepare comprehensive production planning reports, KPI analysis, and performance reviews.
• Monitor inventory levels and work-in-progress (WIP) to optimize operational efficiency.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and delivery performance.

Job Requirement

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related fields.

Experience & Knowledge

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Production Planning, Production Planning & Control (PPC), or Supply Chain Management.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within large-scale manufacturing environments.
• Experience in furniture or sofa manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, capacity planning, inventory control, and supply chain processes.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office suite.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent in Chinese is highly preferred, with good proficiency in English.

• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility, ability to work effectively under pressure, and readiness to work overtime when required.
