Job Description
Supplier Development (Export Focus):
- Research and identify potential Vietnamese suppliers, evaluating their production capabilities, capacity, quality certifications, etc.
- Develop competitive suppliers to meet company standards and export requirements.
- Support sample arrangement, evaluation, and factory approval processes.
- Guide and support local suppliers, especially with quality issues, to ensure smooth mass production and compliance with Panasonic standards.
Import Support:
- Manage import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and airway bills.
- Control purchasing, sales, and inventory (PSI), overseeing the entire import process from purchase order to delivery to factories.
- Streamline and optimize transactional and logistical flows.
Key Account Management:
- Manage key customer accounts, arranging shipments based on purchase orders and resolving any issues related to sales (quality, delivery, payment).
- Identify opportunities to improve sales performance and drive growth within assigned accounts.
Team & Subordinate Coaching:
- Assist team leaders in managing team tasks and provide coaching to junior team members to help them achieve their goals.
Job Requirement
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Import/Export, Procurement, or Purchasing.
- Experience working in a similar role within a manufacturing or trading company is preferred.
- Proven experience in evaluating and developing suppliers.
- Knowledge of trading business practices and basic quality control principles.
- Ability to travel frequently to supplier factories (1-2 times per week).
- Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken); Japanese language skills are an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to enhance trading and business skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
