Job Description

Maintenance Management & Production Equipment Maintenance

  • Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations across the facility.
  • Plan, organize, and direct repair and installation activities.
  • Create and implement preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to detect and resolve problems promptly.
  • Maintain machinery to ensure working standards, assign repair schedules, evaluate repair cost estimates, and manage equipment stock and spare parts.
  • Oversee maintenance of production machinery, including mechanical, electrical, automation systems, high-speed moving parts, drive systems, precision components, circuit boards, inverters, servo motors, PLC systems, sensors, and control systems.

Utility Systems, TPM & Spare Parts Management

  • Oversee electrical distribution systems, transformer substations, MSB, capacitor banks, switchgear, protection systems, metering equipment, and operational electrical parameters.
  • Manage air compressor stations, boiler systems, industrial gas systems, HVAC, chillers, cooling towers, humidification, ventilation, water supply, and wastewater treatment systems.
  • Develop and monitor OEE metrics, TPM documentation, and TPM tracking systems.
  • Manage spare parts inventory for production equipment, utility systems, electrical systems, mechanical systems, compressor parts, boiler parts, HVAC components, and pump parts.
  • Maintain minimum stock levels and inspect incoming spare parts quality to ensure quick breakdown response and avoid substandard components.

Team Training, Safety, Budget & Reporting

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop maintenance teams, including mechanical, electrical, electronic, and automation engineers or technicians.
  • Assign daily work schedules, allocate shifts, and oversee team performance.
  • Train maintenance and operations teams on substations, MCC switchgear, control panels, electrical troubleshooting, LOTO, single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, boiler operation, gas safety, and emergency response.
  • Conduct safety and environmental risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety, environmental protection, and fire prevention standards.
  • Develop and manage the annual maintenance budget, prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports, maintain maintenance logs, and report major issues, downtime analysis, and improvement initiatives to the Factory Manager.

Job Requirement

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related fields; professional certification in electrical safety, boiler operation, or TPM is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with mechanical, electrical, electronic, automation, and utility systems; at least 3–5 years in a woven fabric factory; hands-on experience with production equipment, complex utility systems, industrial automation, PLC, inverters, servo motors, drive systems, sensors, industrial electrical systems, AutoCAD, HMI, SCADA, boiler, HVAC, water supply, and wastewater treatment systems is required.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage and control maintenance processes effectively.
  • Analytical thinking for cost estimation and budget control.
  • Strong training and coaching skills for maintenance, operations, and quality-related team development.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • ERP/MES knowledge is an advantage.

Language / Other Requirements

  • Fluent Chinese in speaking, reading, and writing is mandatory for communication with Chinese management, headquarters, and suppliers.
  • Good English is an advantage for technical documents and international communication.
  • Willing to work in shifts.
  • Able to work under supervision and undergo periodic performance reviews.

  • Detail-oriented and meticulous.
  • Responsible in maintenance execution, safety compliance, and equipment reliability.
  • Hands-on in troubleshooting, team coaching, and operational problem solving.
  • Continuous-improvement oriented and able to coordinate across production, maintenance, and management teams.
