Job Description

Lead R&D and Product Development

• Responsible for identifying market needs, pain points, and trends, especially in beauty, health, clinic segments, and each doctor’s niche.
• Work directly with doctors and specialists to develop formulations, concepts, active ingredients, and differentiated product advantages.
• Design the end-to-end product development process including research, testing, OEM production, product registration, market testing, and optimization.
• Ensure each product has a strong USP, clear market fit, and high potential for fast growth on TikTok.

Build Marketing Concepts and Product Strategies

• Collaborate with the Marketing Director to develop product positioning, key messages, reasons-to-believe, and communication concepts.
• Ensure product concepts align with consumer behavior on TikTok Shop, livestream selling, and KOL/KOC channels.
• Develop medical-standard communication guidelines for each doctor to ensure accuracy, consistency, and credibility.

Manage Doctor Channels and TikTok Expert Channel Model

• Establish cooperation processes with doctors including onboarding, content planning, product coordination, and policy alignment.
• Collaborate with marketing to ensure doctor-led content is professionally accurate, legally compliant, and optimized for conversion.
• Monitor channel performance and adjust product and content strategies accordingly.

Legal and Compliance

• Oversee compliance related to pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, health products, and medical advertising regulations.
• Work with government authorities when required such as testing agencies, the Department of Health, or customs offices.

Reporting

• Prepare and submit reports to the company’s leadership as required.

Job Requirement

Experience

• 5 to 10 years of experience as a Marketing Director or COO at Vietnamese brands that have achieved strong growth through Ecommerce or TikTok Shop.
• Experience working directly with OEM manufacturers, product testing agencies, and product registration.
• Proven track record in leading at least 2 to 5 successful product launches.
• Prefer candidates with experience in companies thriving on TikTok Shop, social commerce, livestream commerce, or those who have worked closely with doctors and specialists.

• Ability to create strong USPs, develop product positioning, write concepts, and understand consumer buying behavior.
• Ability to analyze customer insights and market data.
