Job Description
Industrial Engineering Management
- Lead the IE team in the Sweater division to drive productivity and efficiency improvement.
- Conduct time and motion studies, set standard minutes and update operation bulletin for sweater styles.
- Optimize manpower planning, line balancing and machine layout to achieve daily production targets.
Production Efficiency & Performance Improvement
- Analyze bottlenecks and propose solutions to reduce cycle time and improve throughput.
- Monitor and improve key indicators such as efficiency, utilization, DHU and output.
- Work closely with Planning, Production and Quality teams to ensure smooth style changes and minimize downtime.
Team Training & Costing Support
- Train and coach IE staff and production supervisors to implement best practices.
- Support the Costing team by providing accurate SMV for product costing and order negotiation.
Job Requirement
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Garment Technology or related fields.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the garment industry; preferably in sweater manufacturing.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of IE tools such as SMV calculation, line balancing and layout planning.
- Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, GSD or similar IE software.
- Good communication, leadership and team management skills.
- Strong ability to analyze bottlenecks, improve production flow and optimize efficiency.
Language / Other Requirements
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience in knitting, sweater or garment manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Willing to work at factory site in Long Hau Industrial Park.
Personality & Attitude
- Proactive, analytical and improvement-oriented.
- Strong ownership in driving productivity and production efficiency.
- Able to coordinate well with cross-functional teams.
- Suitable for a modern garment manufacturing environment with high international standards.
