Job Description
Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Identify, source, and evaluate reliable suppliers to build a strong and competitive procurement network.
- Maintain long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure service stability, high-quality standards, and competitive pricing.
Negotiation & Contract Management
- Negotiate competitive prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to maximize cost-efficiency.
- Draft, review, and finalize purchasing contracts to ensure legal compliance and protect company interests.
Order & Logistics Coordination
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) based on production schedules and material requirement planning.
- Monitor delivery progress, handle logistics status, and ensure materials arrive at the factory on time and in correct quantities.
Cost Control & Team Leadership
- Collaborate closely with production and inventory departments to ensure material availability and resolve any supply shortages or quality discrepancies.
- Manage, support, and lead the purchasing team to achieve operational targets and maintain high performance.
- Provide periodic reports to management regarding purchasing performance, market price trends, and cost-saving initiatives.
Job Requirement
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, or related technical fields.
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in procurement or purchasing, specifically within a manufacturing company.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing supply chain processes, material requirement planning, and supplier evaluation criteria.
Skills & Competencies
- Fluent in Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, writing) for direct communication with leadership and international suppliers.
- Highly proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience in utilizing enterprise management software (ERP) is considered a significant advantage.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and systematic problem-solving skills.
Personality & Attitude
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly responsible in all procurement activities.
- Strict adherence to professional ethics and purchasing principles.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and perform effectively under high pressure.
