Job Description
- Assist in preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in developing annual budgets and financial forecasts, monitor budget performance, and provide variance analysis.
- Assist in monthly account closing processes, including preparing financial statements, supporting schedules, tax computations, and related matters.
- Oversee daily operations, including managing receivables, invoices, payments, and data entry.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial data.
- Prepare audit schedules and tax returns.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts and follow up on outstanding items (creditors, debtors, bank accounts, intercompany transactions, etc.).
- Handle statutory audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Identify and evaluate cost-reduction opportunities.
- Manage local statutory audits and tax submissions.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Membership in a professional accounting body.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to work independently and strong problem-solving skills.
