Job Description

Assist in preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Assist in developing annual budgets and financial forecasts, monitor budget performance, and provide variance analysis.
Assist in monthly account closing processes, including preparing financial statements, supporting schedules, tax computations, and related matters.
Oversee daily operations, including managing receivables, invoices, payments, and data entry.
Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial data.
Prepare audit schedules and tax returns.
Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts and follow up on outstanding items (creditors, debtors, bank accounts, intercompany transactions, etc.).
Handle statutory audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
Identify and evaluate cost-reduction opportunities.
Manage local statutory audits and tax submissions.

Job Requirement

Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Membership in a professional accounting body.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Strong proficiency in Excel.
Ability to work independently and strong problem-solving skills.
