Pre-sales Activities:
- Propose suitable products and solutions to SIs and customers.
- Support SIs and end-users with application issues.
- Offer complete solutions involving robots, vision systems, and third-party integrations.
- Conduct Proof of Concept (POC) and follow up on leads.
- Manage and maintain solution centers and demo units.
- Provide technical support for sales promotion activities (webinars, seminars, roadshows).
- Guide sales engineers on market demands and competition.
- Conduct product, application, and maintenance training for SIs and end-users.
- Build strong relationships with channel partners and customers.
Service Activities:
- Provide technical support (remotely or on-site) for installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs, engineering, consulting, upgrades, retrofits, etc.
- Collaborate with regional headquarters (RHQ) and other Southeast Asian countries to provide after-sales service to global customers.
- Respond to service calls on-site or online within expected turnaround times.
- Work with the RHQ service team to troubleshoot technical issues and support junior engineers.
- Report technical, contractual, quality, program, or cost issues to RHQ with recommendations.
- Prepare proposals and quotations for spare parts and services.
- Promote parts and services sales to end-users.
- Identify and support authorized service partners.
Yêu cầu công việc
Job/Skills Competencies:
- Understanding of factory automation, motion controllers, servos, CNCs, PLCs, robotics, or similar industrial controls.
- Computer literacy and proficiency with PC software (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Critical Work Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in both Application Engineer and Field Service Engineer roles. Experience with industrial robots is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electronic, Mechatronics, Robotics, Control and Communications, Control and Automation, or a related field.
