Mô tả công việc
- Develop and manage physical trading activities for copper and/or aluminum (concentrate, ingot, cathode, billet, etc.) in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
- Maintain strong relationships with local and global producers, smelters, warehouses, logistics providers, and end-users.
- Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify trading opportunities and price trends.
- Negotiate purchase/sales contracts, ensure proper risk management (hedging, FX, payment terms), and handle contract execution in coordination with logistics and finance teams.
- Monitor LME/SHFE price movements, inventory levels, and macroeconomic indicators relevant to the non-ferrous metal market. The LME/SHFE acronyms are retained as they are specific to this industry and not general brand names.
- Work with internal teams to optimize margin, working capital, and customer credit exposure.
- Prepare weekly/monthly trading reports, forecasts, and P&L statements.
- Support business development activities, including expanding into new markets or introducing new product lines (e.g., recycled metals, alloys, etc.).
Yêu cầu công việc
- Minimum 7 years in metals trading, with a focus on copper or aluminum.
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese (or Korean).
