- Lead and coordinate all areas within the Molding department.
- Direct and coordinate all molding production operations.
- Ensure product quality and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Supervise and ensure discipline and system compliance within the area.
- Plan and manage production schedules and on-time customer delivery.
- Supervise staff and manage departmental resources.
- Coordinate with other departments to meet production goals, optimize machinery use, and meet customer requirements.
- Complete required reports (efficiency, productivity, safety, production quantities, rejects) accurately and on time.
- Coordinate and deliver training programs with HR.
- Guide AQP (Advanced Quality Planning) representatives.
- Supervise and ensure compliance with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) system requirements.
- Review and approve purchase requisitions.
- Lead internal PPM (Parts Per Million) reduction teams.
- Support and address employee needs within the TalentLMS training program.
- Implement quality and environmental policies and leadership principles.
- Assign a departmental representative to the HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) committee.
- Manage the departmental budget.
- Implement internal programs to improve communication, training, work simplification, and cost reduction.
- Provide quick responses to issues and promote continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
- Promote teamwork within and outside the department.
- Utilize and promote Lean manufacturing techniques.
- Work with other departments (Manufacturing, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Materials, Finance, and Sales) to resolve production issues.
- Control costs within budget.
- Perform other tasks assigned by management.
Yêu cầu công việc
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques.
- Knowledge of production and inventory control.
- Ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Ability to delegate authority effectively.
- Treat all employees with respect and impartiality.
- Pass the Wonderlic test with a score of 28 or greater.
- Education: Engineering or related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in injection molding, with experience in personnel supervision. Experience with molded parts that will be painted is preferred.
