Job Description
Product Research & Development
- Conduct market research, analyze customer needs, fashion trends, and consumer behavior to identify product opportunities.
- Develop brand positioning, propose strategies, and generate creative ideas for new product lines.
- Plan and oversee the full product development process, from concept to prototype, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and brand image.
Team Management & Leadership
- Organize, manage, and coordinate R&D team activities throughout each development phase to ensure efficiency and high-quality outcomes.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to strengthen R&D capabilities.
- Establish KPIs, monitor team performance, and promote collaboration between departments.
- Foster a positive team culture that encourages innovation and teamwork.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Supply and Production teams to develop and supervise sample production, ensuring quality, progress, and technical standards are met.
- Monitor and control product quality during development and trial production phases.
Reporting & Other Tasks
- Prepare reports on R&D activities and project progress.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirement
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Marketing, Fine Arts, or related fields.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Product Development Team Leader.
- Previous experience in the fashion industry, especially in mid-high to premium segments, is strongly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent analytical abilities to assess business, marketing, and competitor insights for timely decision-making.
- Proficiency in market research and consumer behavior analysis.
- Good communication and cross-department coordination skills.
- Creative mindset, strategic thinking, and attention to detail.
