Job Description
Production Planning & Scheduling
- Develop master and detailed production plans based on customer orders, forecasts, and manufacturing capacity.
- Monitor and supervise production progress to meet targets in quantity, quality, and delivery deadlines.
- Coordinate with key departments including Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, Engineering, and Production to ensure smooth workflow and accurate scheduling.
Cross-functional Coordination & Communication
- Communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking partners, suppliers, and management teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Identify and resolve issues arising during production planning and execution.
Inventory & Material Control
- Manage and optimize inventory levels of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to prevent material shortages or overstocking.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze production data, evaluate performance metrics, and propose improvement initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports on production schedules, progress, and performance outcomes.
Team Development & Leadership
- Provide guidance and training for team members (if applicable).
- Support staff development to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
Job Requirement
Education & Experience
- College or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position within a manufacturing company.
- Experience in the eyewear manufacturing industry is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) — mandatory.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is an advantage.
- Honest, proactive, responsible, and able to work under pressure.
