Job Description
Quality Management and Audits
- Handle Quality, Technical, and Social audits effectively.
- Communicate clearly with buyers and explain quality issues logically and professionally.
- Defend quality decisions with logic and data rather than simply translating issues.
- Implement and maintain ISO 9001 standards across manufacturing processes.
Problem-Solving and Prevention
- Identify issues clearly and analyze data when defects occur.
- Determine root causes using structured methods such as 5 Why, Fishbone, and 8D reports.
- Establish preventive actions and implement internal training to prevent the recurrence of defects.
- Execute strong Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Manage and lead a QA team consisting of 5 to 20 members.
- Collaborate effectively with the Production and Engineering departments to maintain quality standards.
- Maintain strong reporting and documentation practices.
Strategic Data-Driven QA
- Analyze defect rates and quality KPIs using ERP and MES systems.
- Set and monitor measurable KPIs including PPM (Parts Per Million), FPY (First Pass Yield), and delivery impact.
Job Requirement
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related fields.
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in manufacturing quality management.
- Experience working at the QA Manager or Assistant Manager level.
- Experience working with OEM/ODM or global brands.
- Strong understanding of metal hardware, fashion accessories, plating, and coating processes.
- Knowledge of finishing standards and surface treatment requirements.
- Practical experience in durability testing such as Cycling tests, Pull tests, and Oven tests.
Skills & Competencies
- Clear and professional communication in English for both emails and meetings.
- Strong capability in Root Cause Analysis and systematic problem-solving.
- Understanding of ERP/MES systems and data-driven QA methodologies.
Personality & Attitude
- Logical, professional, and forward-thinking.
- Strong digital awareness to adapt to system-based buyer requirements.
