Job Description

Team Leadership & Operational Performance

• Lead and motivate up to 20 team members to achieve productivity, efficiency, quality, and consistency targets.
• Monitor critical-to-quality parameters and address factors affecting process performance.
• Facilitate team meetings and huddles while maintaining an engaging work environment.
• Ensure subject-matter experts perform their assigned duties and responsibilities.

Performance Management & Employee Development

• Conduct performance checkpoints twice monthly using employee scorecards.
• Develop career plans and guide employees toward their personal and professional goals.
• Address underperformance through root-cause analysis and corrective action plans.
• Conduct monthly individual sessions to collect feedback and improvement ideas.

Workforce Administration, Compliance & Improvement

• Communicate schedules, process leave requests, monitor attendance, and manage repeated absenteeism.
• Enforce operational standards and information-security policies.
• Act as the first escalation point for operational and HR-related concerns.
• Review time reports, support disciplinary actions, escalate employee welfare concerns, and recommend workflow improvements.

Job Requirement

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree.
• From 2–5 years of working experience, preferably including at least one year of team leadership experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong team leadership, motivation, coaching, and performance-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good root-cause analysis, action planning, and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Able to manage productivity, efficiency, quality, attendance, and employee-development metrics.
• Strong understanding of the cultural context of supported markets.

Language / Other Requirements

• Japanese proficiency at JLPT N2 or N1 level.
• English proficiency is required.
• Knowledge of the language used in supported markets is an advantage.
• Able to work in a flexible 24/7 operating environment.
