Supplier Management & Sourcing Support

• Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers with relevant capabilities for production and new product development.
• Collaborate with suppliers to propose product concept alternatives aligned with their core competencies.
• Source materials, evaluate quotations, and negotiate pricing and terms to achieve cost efficiency and quality objectives.
• Monitor supplier capacity and constraints to ensure production continuity.
• Manage product quotation and timeline tracking for new projects, ensuring on-time completion.

Order Management & Logistics Coordination

• Coordinate weekly open order reports with U.S. and International Business Units to ensure accuracy and timely updates.
• Support Asia-based suppliers and logistics teams with WIP (Work-in-Progress) component orders and delivery timing.
• Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics departments to ensure material flow and timely order fulfillment.
• Handle purchase order transactions through B2B systems and manage material authorizations as required.
• Provide regular updates on purchase order status to internal stakeholders.

New Product Development Support

• Assist suppliers with material planning and management for pilot samples and first production runs.
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering and Supply Chain teams to support new product introduction (NPI) processes.
• Ensure suppliers meet product development schedules, quality requirements, and project milestones.

Continuous Improvement & Cross-functional Collaboration

• Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks such as raw material shortages or extended lead times.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma projects.
• Coordinate supplier visits, travel arrangements, and other administrative support as assigned.

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

Experience

• Minimum 6 years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, or related functions.
• Experience in international consumer products (CPG) or manufacturing industries preferred.
• Background in materials management, order fulfillment, and supplier coordination.

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes (manual & automated).
• Familiarity with processes such as injection molding, thermoforming, blister sealing, sonic welding, and printing.
• Experience with capacity planning, constraint management, and inventory control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using structured problem-solving and root cause analysis (A3).
• Lean / Six Sigma knowledge or certification preferred.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence supplier performance.
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Chinese proficiency is an advantage.
