  • Oversee the successful introduction of new product lines within the Animal Nutrition sector, with a focus on acquiring new customers.
  • Formulate the product line's value proposition, effectively communicate it to customers and staff, and ensure its smooth integration.
  • Collaborate with the technical marketing team to develop sales strategies, provide sales team training, and work with the marketing team to create promotional plans.
  • The primary objective is to drive overall sales growth and meet gross margin targets.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Develop marketing plans for allocated product groups in Animal Nutrition product lines, maintaining a clear understanding of market trends and opportunities in both North and South Vietnam.
  • Identify product and/or application needs by maintaining a close understanding of customer needs.
  • Manage all factors into prioritized product activity programs for the customers.
  • Consider existing and new/alternative product distribution channels.
  • Ensure all marketing activities are accurately costed and reflect the relevant sales budgets.
  • Develop pricing strategies in agreement with the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Have close input into developing and writing Business and Strategic Plans.
  • Maintain close relationships with key decision-makers at Key Accounts based on the established Key Account Management Scheme.
  • Monitor market data and keep the Regional Sales Manager well-informed.
  • Manage 'day-to-day' sales management, continually defining and refining 'Critical To Quality' parameters in relation to different market needs.
  • Be an effective Technical Sales manager, able to present ideas effectively and communicate well with peers and all levels of management.
  • Demonstrate achievement of product sales objectives and financial targets, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
  • Have a high degree of personal motivation, a desire to make an immediate contribution, and a distinct sense of urgency.

Yêu cầu công việc

  • At least a B.Sc. in animal nutrition or veterinary medicine, preferably in poultry and swine. A MS or Ph.D. in livestock nutrition, animal husbandry, or a veterinary medicine (DVM) degree would be considered favorably.
  • Worked for at least five (5) years of relevant experience in the animal feed/Animal nutrition industry in a technical or sales role in Vietnam.
  • A business mindset with a broad scientific knowledge base: provide technical leadership, set priorities, work across departments, and meet timetables leading to the attainment of gross margin growth goals.
  • An in-depth understanding of the feed industry and the principal market drivers.
  • Demonstrated achievement of product sales objectives and financial targets.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good command of the English language.
