Internal Control & Compliance Programs
- Lead and support internal control and compliance programs and projects across assigned APAC countries.
- Prepare internal control documentation, including business narratives, flowcharts, risk control matrices, and controls testing.
- Evaluate and design policies and procedures, and assist group companies in implementation.
- Lead or support global Control Self-Assessment programs and compliance-related activities.
Business Process Review, Investigation & Remediation
- Perform independent and objective reviews of business processes, IT general controls, and policies to improve operations, ensure compliance, and manage risks.
- Conduct investigations and process reviews, including non-compliance and fraud-related matters.
- Address past review issues and support remediation action plans.
- Prepare detailed and executive summary updates/reports for management.
Risk Management Framework & Regional Risk Execution
- Establish, communicate, and facilitate the use of appropriate Risk Management methodologies, tools, and techniques across the region.
- Lead or support implementation of RM policy, framework, system, tools, risk profile, risk register, and reports.
- Monitor KRIs and promote organizational risk awareness through communications, workshops, training sessions, and formal/informal engagements.
- Develop monitoring methods and ensure continuous risk identification and improvement processes are in place.
Stakeholder Engagement & APAC Ownership
- Take ownership of assigned APAC countries and programs, and provide regular updates to project leaders or superior.
- Engage Business Groups, Functional Units, group companies, compliance members, and Risk Champions.
- Communicate requirements, progress, and results, while facilitating two-way discussions and updates with stakeholders.
- Provide independent support to group companies to manage risks and improve operations.

Education & Experience
- University Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Law.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in internal control and compliance, internal audit, Risk Management, or risk management, preferably in the industrial/manufacturing industry and/or Big 4 professional firm.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong awareness and knowledge of internal controls, governance, Risk Register maintenance, and COSO framework.
- Ability to write or revise policies and guidelines, propose tailored internal control systems, and summarize/interpret risk profiles across the group.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation skills for management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel analytics ability is required.
Language / Other Requirements
- Fluency in English and Vietnamese, including reading and writing.
- Willing to travel domestically and overseas when required.
- Chartered Accountant, CPA, CFE, or CIA certification is preferred.
- Must have regional exposure across APAC, Asia, Indochina, or an equivalent multi-country scope; Vietnam-only internal control experience is not suitable for this role.
- Reference check is required.
