Machine Operations & Production Performance

• Operate and supervise color sorting machines, peeling machines, and humidification chambers to ensure stable performance and correct process parameters.
• Monitor peelability, moisture levels, whole/broken/reject percentages, machine uptime, throughput, and yield according to customer and production standards.
• Coordinate with Maintenance for daily checks, calibration, repairs, troubleshooting, and downtime reduction.

Quality Control & Food Safety Compliance

• Conduct sampling and visual inspections to ensure product consistency, sorting accuracy, and quality output.
• Work with QC/QA teams to validate kernel grades, identify anomalies, handle quality deviations, and support internal/external audits.
• Ensure hygiene, PPE, and food safety compliance according to HACCP, BRC, GMP, and HALAL guidelines.

Team Management, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Supervise peeling operators, color sorting operators, and helpers; allocate manpower across shifts to meet daily and weekly targets.
• Train workers on machine handling, hygiene, food safety, SOP adherence, and operational standards.
• Maintain logs and submit daily shift reports on machine parameters, downtime, rejects, yields, productivity, and input-output mass balance.
• Identify improvement opportunities to increase yield, reduce rework/rejects, improve sorter efficiency, and update SOPs when needed.

Education & Experience

• Diploma or degree in Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related fields.
• 5–7 years of experience in the cashew processing industry, with strong experience in peeling operations and color sorting equipment.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of peeling operations, color sorting machines, humidification chambers, machine parameters, compressor systems, and process control.
• Deep understanding of peelability control, moisture conditioning, defect classification, kernel grading, yield optimization, and mass balance tracking.
• Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, reporting, training, and multiple-line management skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Excel and reporting tools.

Language / Other Requirements

• Can communicate in English.
• Knowledge of HACCP, BRC, GMP, HALAL, and food safety procedures.
• Ability to work in a factory environment and support QA, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams when required.
