Job Description
- Review CAD files (3D models, 2D drawings) of items developed in China.
- Understand test protocols and train the responding lab technicians in Vietnam.
- Coordinate mold transfers from China to Vietnam; oversee mold trials and resolve issues.
- Coordinate for the pilot run (PP) in Vietnam, solve any problem if it happens, bridge between China's NPD and Vietnam's production.
- Source local suppliers for metal/plastic parts; trial and verify new tooling at our factories.
- Manage design changes (ECO), release updates to the corresponding department, and ensure implementation.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2~3 years' experience in the metal/plastic industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or Creo).
Desired Skills:
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic English and/or Chinese (optional, but an advantage).
- Hands-on experience with mold trials and pilot production processes.
- Familiarity with sourcing and evaluating local suppliers for metal and plastic components.
- Willing to work at the HCM office 1-2 days per week to synchronize tasks and work plans.
