Job Description

Plant Layout & 3D Design

• Develop general arrangement layouts and plot plans for water treatment systems based on P&IDs.
• Build complete water treatment system models using AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Design piping systems, skids, vessels, tanks, pipe racks, platforms, and other mechanical components.
• Ensure designs comply with technical specifications, P&IDs, layouts, and applicable standards.

Engineering Drawings & Documentation

• Produce 2D shop drawings, piping drawings, manufacturing drawings, and isometric drawings from 3D models.
• Prepare bills of materials and requests for quotation for piping, structures, tanks, and mechanical components.
• Select appropriate materials for piping, structures, storage tanks, and vessels.
• Perform other relevant engineering duties assigned by management.

Job Requirement

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience using AutoCAD Plant 3D, with practical experience in piping and mechanical-system design.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of water treatment, chemical engineering, fluid engineering, and material selection.
• Able to read and interpret P&IDs and engineering layouts.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Knowledge of piping, structural, tank, and vessel material standards such as JIS or equivalent.
• Able to develop piping, isometric, shop, and manufacturing drawings.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with PVC piping and JIS standards is preferred.
• Knowledge of Advance Steel, structural analysis software, or BIM software is an advantage.
• AutoCAD Plant 3D administration experience is preferred.

Language / Other Requirements

• Able to communicate effectively in English.
• Able to read and understand technical documents and engineering drawings in English.
• Candidates should be from 28–32 years old.
• Previous experience working for a Japanese company is preferred.
