Job Description

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding the company’s footprint within the booming ecommerce logistics market. You will be responsible for:

1. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with a portfolio of local and international customers, ensuring a deep understanding of their unique logistics needs.
  • Conducting regular customer visits, presentations, and business reviews to maintain satisfaction and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Developing and delivering engaging workshops and training sessions to educate potential and existing customers about cross-border ecommerce logistics solutions.


2. Strategic Business Development:

  • Leading the development and execution of comprehensive sales strategies to penetrate target markets and secure new business within the ecommerce sector.
  • Conducting thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and untapped opportunities.
  • Collaborating with the sales management team to develop customized pricing models, service offerings, and solutions tailored to meet the specific requirements of ecommerce clients.


3. Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Providing effective leadership, coaching, and mentorship to a team of business development professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders across operations, sales, marketing, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Partnering with the operations team to optimize processes, address customer challenges, and ensure the timely and efficient delivery of logistics solutions.

Job Requirement

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and business development, with at least 3 years in a senior management role, demonstrating a proven track record of exceeding targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Extensive experience in managing and leading sales teams, fostering a positive and results-oriented team culture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret market data, identify trends, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, capable of effectively conveying complex information to diverse audiences and building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
