Job Description

Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Develop and implement monthly, quarterly, and annual business strategies for logistics and forwarding services targeting FDI customers in industrial zones.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and develop potential customer lists (at least 50 prospects per quarter).
  • Negotiate and sign service contracts with clients.
  • Supervise service implementation in coordination with Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage receivables and ensure on-time collection of outstanding payments.
  • Participate in local FDI networking events and associations to expand customer connections.

Account Management

  • Directly manage key accounts and maintain regular visits (at least twice per month).
  • Review, renew, and expand service contracts with existing clients.
  • Develop and upsell additional services to current customers.

Sales Team Management

  • Build and manage a sales team of five members (three in Binh Duong and two in Dong Nai).
  • Assign specific territories and industrial zones (e.g., VSIP, My Phuoc, Song Than, Bien Hoa).
  • Set and monitor monthly/quarterly KPIs for each team member (revenue, new customers, deal closure rate).
  • Review timesheets, client visit schedules, and sales reports daily.
  • Conduct team meetings weekly and one-on-one sessions twice per month.

Training & Performance Development

  • Organize bi-monthly product and service training for team members.
  • Coach and mentor sales staff in pricing, negotiation, and client communication.
  • Conduct weekly role-play sessions to improve sales skills.
  • Provide performance feedback after client visits.

Sales & Profit Management

  • Set team sales and profit targets and define minimum profit margins.
  • Develop customer-specific and regional pricing strategies.
  • Monitor profit performance:
  • 1st & 2nd month (probation): no profit target
  • Month 3–6: minimum profit = 150% of basic salary
  • Month 7 onwards: minimum profit = 2.5× agreed salary
  • Commission: 20% of profit exceeding target (inclusive of PIT).

Reporting & Discipline

  • Submit accurate daily/weekly/monthly reports on sales, customers, and market trends.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal processes and business ethics policies.

Job Requirement

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, International Business, Logistics, or Business Administration.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the logistics or forwarding industry.
  • At least 2 years in a managerial position.
  • Established network with FDI customers in industrial zones such as Phu My, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Long An, Dong Nai, VSIP, My Phuoc, Song Than, or Bien Hoa.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent leadership, planning, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English (required); Chinese is an advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of logistics, freight forwarding, and international trade.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
