We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to take ownership of all HR matters across the company from recruitment to performance reviews, wage reviews, team building, and learning and development. To perform well in this role you should have experience as an HR manager, or other senior roles in the HR team, and knowledge around all HR legal requirements. Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role.
Key responsibilities
HR Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver strategic HR plans that fit with the overall business direction
- Giving helpful and engaging presentations to clients and company stakeholders
- Consistently recruiting excellent staff in a timely manner
- Champion a smooth onboarding process, by ensuring that it's high-quality and up to date, and provide clarity and connection for employees so their roles serve the overall business vision
- Build strong relationships with external recruiters, fostering trust and promoting collaboration with the potential candidates in the market
- Training, counseling, and coaching our staff
- Conducting performance and wage reviews
- Creating clear and concise reports
- Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human-resources policies and procedures and ensuring policy awareness
- Maintaining employee and workplace privacy
- Maintaining and reporting on workplace health and safety compliance
- Handling workplace investigations, disciplinary, and termination procedures
- Resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation
- Plan, monitor, and appraise HR activities by scheduling management conferences, training managers in how to coach and discipline, and counseling employees and supervisors
- Carrying out necessary administrative duties
People
- Provide effective coaching and mentoring programs
- Help the Company and other Managers to develop effective KPIs system
- Proactively ensure that development plans are reviewed, discussed and undertaken to ensure adequate management and upskilling of employees to provide for short- and long-term succession planning
- Demonstrate and drive values and behaviours across the Company that support the innovative, collaborative, respectful and inclusive culture that we have worked to create
Other
- Manage the development and use of best practice policies, work procedures and tools that ensure that Goodland maintains strong fiscal management controls and practices
- Completion of special projects, as required
- Any other duties and ad-hoc tasks to ensure deliverables required of the Company are met as directed by the CEO, and MD.

- Proficient in English (IELTS 6 or above)
- Experienced with outsourcing business HR requirements

Education and experience
Formal education:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in human resources or related field
Experience:
- Five or more years of experience in human resources or employee recruitment
- Strong understanding of national laws related to HR"
- Experience working with outsourcing business
