Job Description
Costing Management & Reporting
- Manage the collection of production costs for material, labor, factory overhead, and relevant administrative costs at the plant.
- Prepare regular production costing reports with the ability to drill down and analyze costing information deeply at the manufacturing process level.
BOM & Variance Analysis
- Take full responsibility for Bill of Materials (B.O.M), labor costs, material wastage costs, hourly labor costs, machinery utilization and productivity, and the precise allocation of overhead costs.
- Prepare and communicate additional analyses as required, including cost driver trends, export cost models, and comprehensive margin analysis.
Methodology & Process Improvement
- Continuously monitor the effectiveness and accuracy of the cost methodology and implement identified improvements proactively.
- Contribute to the enhancement of systems and processes to ensure all costing requirements are met and to improve overall costing performance.
- Perform any ad hoc analytical projects as assigned by senior management.
Stakeholder Guidance & Compliance
- Act as the subject matter expert in costing methodology, providing strategic guidance to stakeholders including the plant head, procurement, production planning, product design, and engineering departments.
- Ensure costing standards, policies, and practices are shared and followed accurately from start to finish within established timelines and calendars.
Job Requirement
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant financial disciplines.
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum of 8 years of solid working experience in manufacturing costing, with a strong preference for candidates with managerial experience in a costing team.
- Strong knowledge of cost drivers and proven experience working alongside engineering, supply chain, and sourcing partners.
- Experience in ERP systems is strictly required.
- Prior experience in production process flow for plastic and paper products, as well as wood or chipboard furniture, is a strong advantage.
- Experience working within multinational or sizable organizations is a plus.

- Proficiency in English with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the capability to collect, organize, and analyze data to build planning databases.
- Highly sensitive to numbers with the ability to detect production data anomalies in a timely manner.
- Strong coordination, communication, and management skills to provide proactive solutions with limited direction.

- Clear logical thinker with a strong affinity for plan execution.
- Highly collaborative yet capable of working independently and cooperatively with a diverse group of people.
- Possesses a strong sense of work responsibility with a focus on effectively controlling waste in the production process.
- Able to handle emergencies and unexpected abnormal affairs in a timely and effective manner.
