Job Description
Sales Activities
- Source and develop customer referrals and new business opportunities.
- Prepare and execute sales action plans and strategies.
- Schedule sales activities and maintain customer engagement.
- Make sales calls to new and existing customers, directly or with agents/partners.
- Develop and deliver product and service presentations to customers.
- Negotiate sales proposals, prepare contracts, and ensure follow-up.
- Conduct technical training and trials in collaboration with the R&D department.
- Maintain accurate sales activity records and customer visit reports.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional manner.
- Carry out market research, monitor competitors, and analyze market trends.
- Participate in industry sales events.
- Monitor customer orders, issue purchase orders to HQ Singapore, and coordinate cargo schedules with logistics teams.
- Manage customer-related documents, samples, and input into cloud systems.
Sales Reports
- Prepare sales reports, including budget, monthly estimation, and new business pipeline.
Training
- Attend company training sessions and actively self-learn to improve product and sales knowledge.
Job Requirement
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or Food Technology (mandatory).
- 3–5 years of experience in the food ingredients industry (mandatory).
- Experience working with international companies is an advantage.
Languages
- Fluent English (mandatory).
Skills & Competencies
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Customer-centric mindset with excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team.
- Good presentation and reporting skills.
