Job Description
Quality Control Oversight:
- Develop, implement, and manage quality control procedures at third-party facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
- Verify product specifications and quality benchmarks are met.
Compliance Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations (ISO, HACCP, FDA) and company standards.
- Manage certifications, permits, and audits with regulatory bodies.
- Report and address non-compliance issues.
Supplier Coordination:
- Act as the primary contact for quality matters with third-party facilities.
- Ensure alignment on production schedules, specifications, and quality expectations.
- Facilitate communication between suppliers and internal teams.
Process Improvement:
- Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement process improvements to reduce waste and enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Monitor the effectiveness of changes.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain records of quality checks, inspections, audits, and compliance documentation.
- Report on quality metrics and compliance issues to senior management.
- Document non-conformities and corrective actions.
Training and Support:
- Provide training and guidance to third-party production teams on quality standards and compliance.
- Support implementation of quality protocols and address quality concerns.
- Conduct refresher training on new/updated procedures.
Job Requirement
Education: Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
Experience: 5-7 years in quality control, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role in third-party or outsourced production.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of quality control methods and industry regulations.
- Proficiency in conducting audits, inspections, and compliance checks.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in data analysis and process improvement.
Preferred Certifications: ISO 9001, HACCP, CQA (or equivalent).
Age: 30-40 years old.
