Job Description

Quality Control Oversight:

  • Develop, implement, and manage quality control procedures at third-party facilities.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
  • Verify product specifications and quality benchmarks are met.

Compliance Assurance:

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations (ISO, HACCP, FDA) and company standards.
  • Manage certifications, permits, and audits with regulatory bodies.
  • Report and address non-compliance issues.

Supplier Coordination:

  • Act as the primary contact for quality matters with third-party facilities.
  • Ensure alignment on production schedules, specifications, and quality expectations.
  • Facilitate communication between suppliers and internal teams.

Process Improvement:

  • Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to reduce waste and enhance efficiency and consistency.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of changes.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain records of quality checks, inspections, audits, and compliance documentation.
  • Report on quality metrics and compliance issues to senior management.
  • Document non-conformities and corrective actions.

Training and Support:

  • Provide training and guidance to third-party production teams on quality standards and compliance.
  • Support implementation of quality protocols and address quality concerns.
  • Conduct refresher training on new/updated procedures.

Job Requirement

Education: Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.

Experience: 5-7 years in quality control, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role in third-party or outsourced production.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of quality control methods and industry regulations.
  • Proficiency in conducting audits, inspections, and compliance checks.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in data analysis and process improvement.

Preferred Certifications: ISO 9001, HACCP, CQA (or equivalent).

Age: 30-40 years old.
